PSS

Find Your U.S., Global Products at This Innovative Event

By Kiko Martinez

PSS_InsideJoin the APA, in collaboration with the Global Payroll Management Institute (GPMI), for the 2nd Annual Payroll Solutions Showcase (PSS) March 3-4.

PSS is a virtual event designed to help payroll professionals discover new and innovative payroll-related solutions and to give industry service providers an opportunity to reach prospective buyers. Those interested in registering for the free event can do so at payrollsolutionsshowcase.com.

The virtual event, which will be made available on demand through October 31, 2022, unites the APA and GPMI audience and vendors for an ultimate experience that incorporates interactive demo sessions, product user interface sessions, and case studies. PSS offers attendees an in-depth look into product solutions, so payroll professionals can make educated purchasing decisions for their organization. Attendees can earn RCHs when attending the panel discussions.

“[PSS] will let you compare products from leading HR and payroll industry service providers across the globe to streamline your evaluation process,” said Dan Maddux, Executive Director of APA and President of GPMI. “You can view product demos on your own or with your entire team and view panel discussions live or on demand.”

Last year marked the inaugural PSS event, which Maddux called a “one-stop shop to canvass the marketplace for innovation.” Maddux added that the first-ever PSS “was a big success.”

Participants, too, found the showcase insightful. “PSS was very informative,” Pamela Kuenning, CPP, Payroll and Cash Management Specialist at NMPP Energy, said after attending the first event. “This was an easy forum to use. I hope the APA continues doing showcases!”

One of the panelists who helped make PSS so informative last year was Cecile Leroux, Vice President of Product and Innovation at UKG. She said the event was a success because “people want their work to be aligned with their personal values and purpose” and that the PSS platform achieved this goal.

“[People] expect leaders and organizations to take a stand on issues such as the environment, diversity, and equity. They’re asking what kind of organization they are going to lend their talents to and making decisions on where they’re going to work based on that.”

Again, along with the PSS event, the APA and GPMI will host the People's Choice "Showcase Standout Awards." Winners will be chosen by PSS attendees who will vote for their favorite session presentations. Winners will be announced at the 40th Annual Payroll Congress that takes place from May 10-13 at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas.

Circle March 3-4 on your calendars for PSS next month. Events for both days start at 10:00 a.m. and end at 6:00 p.m. EST. To learn more and to register for the free event, visit payrollsolutionsshowcase.com.
