GPMI's New Virtual Storefront Now Live

By Felicia DeInnocentiis

The Global Payroll Management Institute (GPMI) has created a new online store and events calendar for subscribers to register for events such as the upcoming Global Payroll Management Forum, May 14-18, in Long Beach, California.

Previously, subscribers could only register for some GPMI events through the American Payroll Association (APA) website. Mary Holland, CPP, Global Director of Strategy, Development, and Training at GPMI, said this was a temporary solution during the institute’s early years of operation. Now in its fifth year, GPMI has created a one-stop shop exclusively for its offerings.

“GPMI is a separate institute from the APA, so we operate separately,” Holland said. “We were using the APA’s storefront for some in-person courses and our virtual vendor for all webinars and virtual courses, and this caused confusion for subscribers and manual work for staff.”

The new virtual storefront allows subscribers to filter their preferences for exclusive, global payroll-related events by preference of in-person or virtual education courses, like On Demand, webinars, or virtual platforms.

“Subscribers now have the ability to search for courses, and the title and description details are included with easy access to make a purchase,” Holland said.

Subscribers are advised that for their first purchase on the GPMI store, they may be asked to update their current information, including their address.

Check out GPMI’s new storefront and its events calendar of all of its current offerings.
