Alight Announces Sale of Payroll, Professional Services Business
Human capital management (HCM) provider Alight, Inc. announced it has signed a definitive agreement to sell its Professional Services segment and its Payroll & HCM Outsourcing businesses within the Employer Solutions segment (the “Payroll & Professional Services business”).
Under the terms of the agreement, an affiliate of H.I.G. Capital will acquire Alight’s Payroll & HCM Outsourcing businesses within the Employer Solutions segment, which offers North American payroll services, global payroll services, and HCM outsourcing services, and Alight’s Professional Services segment, which provides application management and cloud deployment support for Workday, SAP, and Oracle.

Orica Implements Dayforce in 13 Countries
Dayforce, Inc., a global human capital management (HCM) provider, announced that Orica Ltd., a global mining and infrastructure solutions provider, completed the first phase of its global payroll and workforce management implementation in less than 12 months. The initial implementation includes 13 countries across Asia-Pacific (APAC), Africa, Latin America, and North America.
