Intuit Names Top Four Global Firms of the Future

Intuit Inc. revealed the top accounting firms from around the world vying for the winning spot in the 2017 Intuit QuickBooks Global Firm of the Future contest. The firms announced are: AIS Solutions & Kninja (Canada), AllThatCounts (Australia), Business Cents (United States), and Business Works UK Ltd. (United Kingdom).

The Firm of the Future contest, now in its third year, invites the world’s leading accounting, bookkeeping, and tax firms to showcase how they see the value of the cloud, use business models to better value their expertise, and grow their practices with modern marketing techniques.

“We are delighted to announce these firms as this year’s finalists,” said Rich Preece, Global Leader of Intuit’s Accountant Segment, Small Business and Self-Employed Group. “These firms are trend-setters in their community and leaders in the field. We are eager to work with them as they help others embrace change and new technologies.”

Kronos’ Workforce Institute Launches in Europe

Kronos Incorporated announced the launch of The Workforce Institute Europe, which aims to explore European workforce issues that have an impact on organizational productivity and employee engagement for front line and salaried workers.

The Workforce Institute is a think tank dedicated to providing research and education on critical workplace issues. An advisory board of internationally renowned academics, visionaries, and European business practitioners will spearhead the initiatives of Workforce Institute Europe.

“Kronos launched The Workforce Institute 10 years ago to promote and encourage discussion on issues facing workers,” said Joyce Maroney, Executive Director of The Workforce Institute. “Launching in Europe where the diversity in workforces and labor trends vary country by country is an exciting next step in our progress as we can truly create a global debate.”

Ramco Systems Partners With Saudi Rotocraft

Ramco Systems announced that it has signed a five-year agreement with Saudi Rotocraft Support Company (SRSC) to offer software support for maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) operations for civilian and military helicopters in Saudi Arabia.

In addition to aviation maintenance modules, SRSC will also be implementing Ramco’s complete finance, HR, and payroll offering to get an integrated view of business operations.

Ramco Systems’ CEO Virender Aggarwal said the company is honored by the partnership.

“Helicopter engineering has advanced significantly in recent decades to include use of composites and higher usage of technology, including avionics,” Aggarwal said. “We look forward to working with SRSC and its partners Alsalam, Boeing, and SAEI to help them achieve the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.”
