UKG Handles Canadian Company’s Complex Pay Structure
Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG), a global provider of human capital management (HCM), payroll, HR service delivery, and workforce management (WFM) solutions, announced that Mosaic Forest Management Corporation, a company engaged in sustainable harvesting on the coast of British Columbia, Canada, is using UKG Pro and UKG Ready to take control of a complicated payroll framework that has more than 200 pay-calculation rules within one pay group in Ready.
Mosaic provides a range of services from harvest planning to operations, marketing and sales, finance, and payroll. The payroll requires complex pay administration including scenarios where employees in the field can, on a single day, work in a variety of activities with different pay rates, that change further as a function of the number of hours worked, and other premiums. Prior to automated time tracking with UKG, most recordkeeping—including overtime, double time, shift premiums, and more—was completed manually.

Immedis Announce New VP of Global Alliances & Partnerships
Immedis, a provider in consolidated global payroll solutions, announced Tiffany Appleby has joined the company as Vice President, Global Alliances & Partnerships. In her role at Immedis, Appleby will lead the design implementation and expansion of Immedis’ global alliances with human capital management (HCM) providers, consulting and services partners, systems integrators, and solutions providers.
Appleby has worked in the HCM industry for more than 15 years. Her previous role at Cornerstone OnDemand included leading North American alliances strategy and partnerships and focusing on business development strategies and initiatives.

Global Upside Opens in Poland; Plans to Expand in APAC, LATAM
