Learn to Leverage More Data With PayrollOrg’s Intermediate Payroll Analytics

Intermediate Payroll Analytics
By Sean Tait Bircher

Data drives everything, including payroll. We know that payroll data plays a crucial role and influences business results across the entire organization. The next step now is to learn how to leverage this data in your payroll department to positively impact your organization's bottom line.

PayrollOrg’s Intermediate Payroll Analytics will help demonstrate the importance of analytics covering timekeeping and operations. Analytics can be used during the payroll process to assist your organization in creating an error-free payroll. These analytics can supply data for your payroll department's key performance indicators (KPIs) so you can better track performance.

During this course, attendees will learn the following:

  • Recognizing analytic best practices, including governance, benefits of a data warehouse, and organizational readiness
  • Identifying data best practices for their organization, including privacy, security, cyberattack protection, and data literacy
  • Developing timekeeping analytics to reduce the number of off-cycle payments
  • Improving the timeliness and accuracy of the payroll process through analytics by reducing the number of errors, underpayments, and overpayments
  • Developing payroll operational analytics to show trends in payroll costs
  • Developing and using payroll key performance indicators to set and track performance objectives

Intermediate Payroll Analytics is offered as an interactive virtual classroom for six half-days from 23 September to 4 October, or 14 to 25 October (non-consecutive). Participants can earn up to 18 RCHs, 1.8 Continuing Education Credits (CEU), or 21.5 Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits. While this course builds on the Foundations of Payroll Analytics program, there are no prerequisites required to attend.

Payroll professionals wanting to demonstrate dynamic leadership, leverage the value of data analytics, identify trends for process improvements, and measure real success in their payroll operations should take advantage of Intermediate Payroll Analytics.
