ADP SecurTime Launches in Philippines

Global payroll and human capital management (HCM) solution provider ADP announced the rollout of its cloud-based time and attendance solution, ADP SecurTime, in the Philippines.

ADP SecurTime, acquired by ADP in 2023, includes features such as the following:

  • Utilising biometrics, tablets, or mobile phones for real-time tracking
  • Geotagging, geofencing, live tracking, and alerts to prevent time fraud
  • Integrated payroll and time
  • Reports and analytics to identify patterns and discrepancies

With the closure of the previously announced sale of Alight’s Payroll & Professional Services business to an affiliate of H.I.G. Capital, it was announced the new independent business has been named Strada.

Strada takes its name from an Italian road meaning not only street, but also “the path or direction one takes in life” and “a way or method of doing things.” Strada is exclusively focused on delivering payroll, human capital, and financial management solutions. CloudPay Secures U.S. $120 Million in Funding

Global payroll and payment solutions provider CloudPay announced the closing of a $120 million funding round led by Blue Owl Capital with the participation of existing shareholders Rho Capital Partners, The Olayan Group, and Hollyport Capital.

The company states the funding will allow strengthening of customer product and technology solutions such as deploying artificial intelligence (AI) within data management, automating and scaling of processes, and improving connectivity via a comprehensive set of application programming interface (API) solutions connecting the partners of its global payroll, payment, and HCM ecosystem.

This funding round marks another significant milestone for the company. Recently, CloudPay was recognised as a Major Contender (Global) and Star Performer (EMEA) in the Everest Group Multi-Country Payroll (MCP) Solutions PEAK Matrix Assessment 2023, and a Top 3 Leader in the Quadrant Knowledge Solutions 2023 SPARK Matrix. The Professional Background Screening Association (PBSA) Background Screening Credentialing Council (BSCC) announced that Neeyamo successfully demonstrated compliance with the Background Screening Organization Accreditation Program, (BSOAP), and will now be formally recognized as BSCC-Accredited to the General Background Screening Standard.

Founded in 2003 as a not-for-profit trade association, the PBSA represents the interests of more than 900 member companies around the world that offer tenant, employment, and background screening. PBSA provides relevant programs and training aimed at empowering members to better serve clients and maintain standards of excellence in the background screening industry and presents a unified voice in the development of national, state and local regulations.

Since its inception, PBSA has maintained that there is a strong need for a compliant, cohesive industry standard and, therefore, created the BSOAP. Governed by a strict professional standard of specified requirements and measurements, the BSOAP is becoming a widely recognized achievement.

The BSCC oversees the BSOAP application process and is the governing accreditation body. To become accredited, organizations must pass a thorough desk audit of their operational documentation, followed by a rigorous virtual audit, conducted by a third-party auditor.
